Touch Of Sleep Youth Program or TYP is a nonprofit organization created by DaVarryl Williamson owner of TOS Boxing Gym. DaVarryl is a first generation college graduate who went on to obtain his Master Degree. TYP youth program holds the belief that the discipline of sports, combined with the love of learning and the support of mentors can empower youth to achieve lifelong success!

HOW YOUR DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Boxing Scholarship

* DaVarryl and his staff provide a semester check-in session with each student

* Worldly outings are planned that foster confidence building, community service and knowledge of the world outside of their neighborhood. These events include sporting events, pizza parties, mini-golf trips, water parks tips, museums, and community service around the Denver Metro area

*TYP “scholarship” provides coaches, all boxing related equipment for its

participants, all outings, drinks, and snacks

MISSION

TYP was formed in June 2015 and its inaugural class of participants was in the fall of 2015. TYP believes in the development of integrity, commitment, honor, and respect in their participants and strives to teach lifelong skills, which position the youth for current and future life successes. TYP provides a safe and productive place for youth to spend time and feel like part of a community

Requirements For Participants

* Student parental involvement in all aspects of the program
* TYP requires participants will sign a one-year commitment to the program
* No gang affiliation, No drug/tobacco use, full commitment to participation, regular attendance
* RESPECT to ALL involved.
